Helping Now: Hostel Detroit
With 14 bunkbeds available and 3 full/queen beds for couples, and a bed night costing $25/person, Hostel Detroit will be a clean, safe, and inexpensive place to stay for travelers who want to explore Downtown Detroit and its surrounding neighborhoods. The long-term mission of Hostel Detroit is to be part of the revitalization of the City of Detroit, and an active part of getting more of the young, “creative class” to move to Detroit, adding their efforts to the revitalization of the city.

What’s Happening?
Helping: Young Detroit Builders
In addition to Hostel Detroit, L2G is helping YDB. YDB is building homes for low income families and deconstructing abandoned homes in Detroit, of which they reuse the supplies of the house to give teens the needed materials to build furniture for Detroit Public Schools and help them earn their GED in carpentry and construction.

We are promoting the “brain retain” mentality & make it our purpose to partner with local nonprofits that are bringing positivity & growth to Michigan.
