Love – I love hanging out with my family and friends, singing, laughing, being a mentor, telling/hearing stories, smiling, being a Godmother, meeting new people, traveling, music, my faith…and knowing what it means to truly appreciate and seize the day! Carpe Diem.

Compassion - I have always had a passion for helping others. When I heard about L2G two years ago, I was searching for more. I wanted to have a greater impact, help more people, and be more personally involved with the contribution I was giving. That is exactly what L2G has given me. I am certain that it is my life’s purpose to share my blessings. I believe blessings are something we are not responsible for. They are a gift, a gift that I want to keep on giving!

Reality – The importance of getting a college education in order to find a grown up job is a reality I learned with some degree of resistance. I am a 23-year-old graduate from Oakland University with a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Development and a minor in Training and Development. I work full time with SRG Global as an HR Assistant. I am excited about all that I have learned, and all that I continue to learn. I look forward to every opportunity, and door, that is open to me to learn more about myself, and the world around me. Life is a journey. I believe that what is important is not where I am going, but the difference that I can make along the way.

Forever – I believe my journey will go on forever. I look forward to eternity when all things are made new and everyone will have what they need. “I am third. God is first. Others are second and I am Third.”
