The idea of L2G came to me after watching a 60 Minutes special about U.S. economic classes. I was humbled to learn that the poorest people in this country give more of their money as a percentage of their total paycheck than the richest. This made me look in the mirror as to why I hadn’t given more of myself to others. A Word Document and a Google search “How to start a nonprofit” later, L2G was born.

I grew up on the soccer field and found myself “growing up” as a psychology major at the University of Michigan. While my education was pricey and priceless, I have grown into a man of passion. I take pleasure in running Live to Give Foundation and Video Vision 360 as well as getting behind a microphone, but I find peace in the small things like good conversation, slowly cooked food and a nice view perched over sand and water.
