L2G was inspired by the ABC show, Extreme Home Makeover, which chooses deserving American families with severe housing issues and builds them a house that offers safety and perseverance. This show has an incredible ability to connect viewers with the team, sponsors, donors, community and most importantly…the family in need. L2G was created with very similar intent–to connect people in the most personal way possible, but instead of building a house, by building a miracle.
