As a result of our trip to help our 1st family, the Scharfenbergs, we were able to raise nearly $5,000 in 3 weeks with not a single fundraiser. With such an outpouring of generosity, we were able to surprise the family with medical insurance, household needs and some holiday gifts. And they thought we were just going bowling.
