2010 Rewind
…
Before we move forward, let’s remember what got us here. We have laid the tracks and are ready to venture into the uncharted successes of 2011, but first, let’s pause and celebrate our growth in 2010 and give thanks to YOU for helping!
In 2010, we:

Fundraised.
Nearly 400 people donated $9,002 in a year that was primarily focused on internal growth. As always, 100% of every dollar was donated.
Spoke.
Ryan spread the L2G vision at Ignite Detroit, #140 Character Conference & Oakland University’s HRD Induction Ceremony.
Volunteered.
We began our one-stop-shop Volunteer Experiences for local nonprofits. Included Celebrities Against Autism, Scleroderma Foundation & Jump.
Said Goodbye.
Bruce Scharfenberg, the very first L2G recipient, passed away of an infection that his heart couldn’t fight. His love for life now lives in us, his 3 kids and wife.
Evolved.
To ring in the next evolution of Live to Give Foundation, we created the new L2G look. New logo. New website. New team. All L2G!
Branded.
Orange Ball = L2G. It symbolizes our promise to make charity “Full Circle”: Connecting donors, recipients and the community in a personal way.
Partnered.
Mike Martin, All-American University of Michigan football player, loves L2G and wants to put a thumbprint in his hometown of Detroit.
Helped.
We chose the next nonprofit to help. The Young Detroit Builders is a nonprofit deconstructing vacant Detroit homes and helping teens get their GED in construction and carpentry.
2010 was a year of evolution, growth and preparation. 2011 will be a year of results. Cheers to making resolutions a reality!
Thank you and don’t just live, Live to Give!
